Dubai Shopping Haul

Dubai Shopping Haul

If you have been following me on Insta you would know that I was in Dubai on a quick trip. I was always fascinated with the UAE and wanted to explore the place and its heritage. This trip was mainly a getaway and I had planned on visiting as many places as I could in the limited number of days possible. I wasn’t concentrating on shopping much but as you all know we girls tend to pick up random things in our shortest trips too, likewise I did not return empty handed. I picked up a some makeup and accessories as and when I could in the spare time. So lets check my Dubai Shopping Haul…

I just picked up stuff randomly and did not look out for anything specific as I found makeup quite expensive as compared to the prices in India and online. Honestly I even did not find good clothes inspite of the Dubai shopping festival going on; I really didn’t think the clothes justified their price tag. Though what I really loved was checking out their local super markets which had an array of products and had some great discounts too.

The first thing I picked up was the Versace Bright Crystal Perfume. I was longing for this perfumes since ages and I found this at 50% off. I mean, I could ask for nothing more, I was just blown away. In UAE, one thing you should not miss is checking the fragrance stores. They have a huge collection and almost all the brands were on discount. Unfortunately I did not find Salvatore Ferragamo fragrance that I was looking for so I had to just settle on this one.

It just does not look pretty but smells amazing too. I picked up pocket perfume in the same fragrance and one more fragrance.

These pocket perfumes comes in real handy as I hate carrying big bottles in my handbag that weigh me down. I picked up some more as gifts. These cost just 10 dirhams each app. Rs 180 but I guess they are totally worth it.

Boots Whitening Facial Masks and Marks & Spencer cotton pads. I use the Body Shop cotton pads but as they are getting expensive day by day I might as well find an alternative. I haven’t seen these in India though.

Another super cute product that I came across in Marks & Spencer was their limited edition bubble bath. I really loved the super cute Santa and picked it. There was another option with a Snow man on it but as I did not like the smell, I did not pick it. Now I wish I should have as it would have looked lovely on my dresser atleast. This product was on discount too and instead of 20 AED I just paid 10 AED.

A local brand face and body scrub and a manicure set which I picked up at dirt cheap price.

An eye shadow palette from a brand name ‘Sweet Rose’ for just 7 AED. (lucky grin) There were a lot of products from quite a few local brands and they were priced economically too but as I never wanted to experiment too much with them so I just picked up these few.

I could not resist my self from buying this cute nail enamel remover and this lip gloss. There are very rare chances that I will use them but I really don’t mind them to show them off on my vanity table.

I was looking for more Essence products but I really wasn’t keen on the mono eye shadows and the pencils so only picked this nail polish.

2 lovely shades from the new Wet n wild collection.

A makeup organizer. I have a similar one which I purchased from ebay but I found this at better deal in one of their super marts.

A few hair and fashion accessories… and some souvenirs.

This was just my part of haul but I picked up a whole lot of perfumes and souvenirs as gifts. So did you enjoy my Dubai Shopping haul?
