My Take on the Product: The nail polish comes in a lovely sleek rectangular bottle with a gold cap. The bottle looks cute and the nail shade is clearly visible from all angles. One of the side panels has a white sticker which displays the shade name and other company details. The brand name is embossed on the cap itself in gold which is visible when seen closely. The Loreal Paris Color Riche Nail Polish range is available in 26 stunning shades, so there is quite a variety to choose from. I am just surprised with the fact that the price changes depending on the shade. Though the difference is not too much I believe the all the shades should cost the same.
I picked up three shades from this range and I am really impressed with its quality. The nail polish goes opaque in 2 coats and gives a lovely glossy finish to your nails. The finish is even and has a nice shine too. Most of the times I even skip a top coat for these nail polishes and they easily stay for 5 -7 days with no chipping and minimal fading at the tips after the 4th day. The nail polish brush is not too thick or thin and has a rounded tip for easy application. I have reviewed the 3 shades separately below and clicked them in different light conditions so that you get an exact idea about the shade.
The shade ‘Ingenuous Rose’ is a lovely subtle dusky rose shade. The shade goes opaque in 2 coats and looks extremely elegant. I am sure this shade will be loved by many and I believe a pale rose shade is a must have for any nail polish lover.
This shade has a bit of history to it. I found this image while just checking some random stuff online. The minute I saw this nail shade, I fell in love with it. I had no idea about the shade and inspite of checking various nail enamel brands I was not getting the desired shade. Finally I took some help from my fellow bloggers and asked them if they knew a shade similar to the one in the pic. A lot of them suggested me to try the Loreal Paris Color Riche Nail Polish in ‘Hypnotic Red’, the shade was ‘Out of Stock’ online so I had to check it in mall stores.. and there it was… I finally found the shade I was looking for.
The shade ‘Hypnotic Red’ is a beautiful dark burgundy maroon kind of shade. The shade goes opaque in one nice thick coat but I still prefer applying two thin coats so that the finish is even. With just one coat gives it a maroon colour and with 2 it goes really dark.. It has a bit of goth feel and I love it. Amongst all the dark shades that I hold in my nail collection, this one is my absolute favourite.
This a lovely bright pink shade. If you like bright pink shades, I am sure you will love this shade. This shade will need 3 coats to go completely opaque.
Overall Verdict: I am really impressed with these cuties. The quality completely justifies the price but I just wish Loreal does not hike the prices further. If you haven’t tried the Loreal Paris Color Riche Nail Polish yet; just give it and I am sure you will pick more than one shade, just like I did!
