Loreal Paris Colour Caresse Wet Shine Lip Stain Review, Swatches & LOTD
– 193 Eternally Nude
Today I am back reviewing and swatching an old favourite product. I have already reviewed the Loreal Paris Colour Caresse Wet Shine Lip Stain in the shade ‘900 Pretty Woman’ here and today have the shade 193 Eternally Nude for you all. As I have already done a detailed review in the past I will keep it short this time.
Though I loved the concept of liquid lipsticks, I have slowly started turning into a matte lover so I did skip up trying a few more shades from this collection. Recently one of my friends gifted me this L’Oreal Paris Colour Caresse Wet Shine Lip Stain in the shade Eternally nude. I love my shade ‘Pretty Woman’ and nude shades vary how they look on particular skin tone, its the perfect nude shade for me. Trying another nude shade from the same range was exciting so lets find out the details of this shade.
The shade 193 Eternally Nude though as the name says is a nude shade, I find it to be more of a rust/ brick orange shade. The shade inspite of being a rust shade I dont think does a great job in covering pigmented lips. My upper lip is darker than my lower lip and the shade does not look even on them. I personally dont like the shade as it does not suit my skin tone and for that matter, I dont think it will suit most of the women with olive skin or dark skin tone. Too much of application of the product trying to cover up your lip makes it feel sticky.
As much as I love the shade ‘Pretty Woman‘, I cant say the same about the shade ‘Eternally Nude’. I personally wouldn’t suggest this shade to anyone but if you still feel like giving it a try, I would suggest you to swatch it on your lips rather than swatching it on the back of your hand. It will give you a perfect idea of how the shade will look on you as such kind of glossy shades change in different light conditions plus vary easily depending on how pigmented your lips are.
