Lotus Intensive Sunblock Spray Review

Lotus Intensive Sunblock Spray SPF 50 – Review

Though summers are about to end, sunscreen is one such product that no matter what season it is, you have to use it. Last time I had reviewed the Lotus 3-in-1 Matte Sunscreen and today I have the Lotus Intensive Sunblock Spray Review for you all. I have even explained the importance of Sunscreens and Sun protection in my article here.

My take on the Product: Lotus Herbals Intensive Sunblock Spray SPF 50 comes in a bright orange bottle with a pump dispenser. It is quite convenient to use and carry but at times the cap comes off as the locking is not very secure (atleast mine isn’t), so be careful while travelling. The sunscreen has a very flowy consistency and is water based. You just need to press the pump near your palms and get the desired quantity before applying it. The sunscreen spreads evenly without leaving a whitish cast. It does feel a bit greasy, so I am sure it will not be the best option for oily skin. It works great on my dry hands and feet but inspite of having dry skin it makes my face a bit oily. Also, I do not agree to its claims of being sweat proof. The Lotus Herbals Intensive Sunblock Spray comes with SPF 50, UVA and UVB filters which is great for Indian skin. The product works effectively if applied properly and after regular intervals but I am just not impressed with the greasy feeling it gives me.

Overall Verdict: I would have loved the sunscreen and it would have been one of the best options for dry skin only if it wasn’t greasy. I can still use it on my body but I really skip using it on my face. Unlike the 3-in-1 matte sunscreen, this is not tinted and does not stain your clothes but the you really can’t step out immediately wearing this sunscreen as it will attract more dust and dirt due to its greasy effect.

Recently my skin has turned very sensitive and is getting badly tanned with just a few minutes in the sun. I really need to try more sunscreens to find the best one for me. I am really eager to try the gel based sunscreen from Lotus. If you have tried it, do let me know how it works for you in the comments below.

XOXOXO
